By d vinod kumar
Some times silence speaks from within inside ,
a untold story A Short stories
by Dvk-just for a thought.
Dedicated to those children and people
Who have eyes which can only be seen through there heart and felt through the
Smile because they were in world where light of the sun and moon and darkness are
All equivalent , but there heart and soul are no different than us ,
The bell rings , and all the students are back to there respective benches in the class , and the be spectacled teacher , with books and register in her hand , pulls the chair a little back , and sits down and with a quick look to all over the class with a smile she says good evening children , and the voice good afternoon mam comes reflecting back to her , and she starts the calling the register to reassure all of us are there in the class , and silently she keeps the register and introduces a new student to the class , and all are stunned and quiet for a while , with a silent question from within all , why has the new student who has joined put on a black cooling glass , to which we all laughed and asked mam for a second you do not allow us to be indisciplined , how come you have allowed the new student to wear glasess and how can he see the blackboard , with a volley of questions fired and before any answer can come the bell rings , and the nest class begins , and slowly and gradually the day comes to an end , and the mind says why not ask the guy , whats up buddy you on glasses 24/7 , and then coming closer to him brings a feeling of sadness and anexity as he removes the glass , both his eyes are visonless , but to hide it he said he said he said he broken his specs could not see , so we thought he was saying the truth , we said whats in the eyes it’s the soul that makes friends and the heart remembers in the memory lane , his company was good as we became more closer and closer to him when the class ends we take him to the other class and when the class ends we bring bring him to the class , and there was a satisfaction within the self that helping a friend is like serving god .the way he would he would hear the teacher and write through the Braille was read aloud to us , the way we made fun and way we rode on the cycle , never felt or any of friends ever thought he could not see , but still when he used to sit silently and takes away the glasses and silently within tears flowing hidden away from all , only may be silently thinking god if I had only eyes to see the real world and the good friends who are always there to put a hand forward to help any moment .day s passed off and time went into a memory spin ,
As Some days passed , years passed , there came a neighbours just a few distant home away , and slowly as time passed we became good neighbours , there was a little child with the most brilliant smile who used to wave her little hands as she used to go to her pre school , and suddenly one day fine morning only find her being taken to the hospital and being asked her brother who was good friend of us told she used to have pains in her head and today it became unbearable and she fainted , only to know that there was a tumour inside her tiny little forehead , and just above the eyes , and as time came slowly her one eye had to be removed to save her other eye as the tumour had spread almost her eyes , but still the brave little girl never lost her courage, but still one feels there is a untold story within every silence .
